Violas and Pansies….. What happy faces they have!
The violas are very tiny flowers. And very hardy.
They go to seed and pop up the next spring in the strangest places!
I have found them in the middle of my yard, popping up in a crack of the drive way and even in the sidewalk very far from where they were originally planted!
So I dig them up and put them back into the flower bed or in a pot.
This year I planted some in an old watering can.
Pansies are much bigger, have different shaped leaves and don’t go to seed.
If I am lucky some survive the winter and pop up in the spring right where they were planted the previous year. Each flower comes in many different color combinations.
